A Question for peristaltor

Know anyone with an open couch?  I've got to be out where I am in 10 days.  In the two months I've been here, I've made one good friend (whose place I can stay at say once a week).  Beyond that I've got nothing, nothing being no job, no job history, and no money.

This being the eve of Thanksgiving weekend. . . Not really an ideal time to improvise, if you know what I mean.

I'm in Burien, and I'll stay as long as possible (ie until I get my goddamn birth certificate and have access to my own money).

Dude, could you be any more cryptic? That last sentence alone raises all sorts of red flags. Now might not be the time to hold back on needed (reassuring) information.

Better phrasing would probably be "as long as the posessor of the couch is comfortable with my presence, or until I come into/earn enough money to pull my own weight, whichever comes first." The last thing I want to do is annoy or inconvenience anyone.

I'm going to assume you addressed me just because I live in the area. I personally live in a Very Small House, one with a single couch reserved for The Wife and her telly. We also travel to relatives quite a bit during Thanksgiving and Xmas, so will be unable to host guests for the immediate future.

If you like, I can ask around about immediate spare capacity, though off-hand no one comes to mind. Let me know if you'd like me to ask, and good luck.

Yeah, I figured that you personally didn't have space, but that you likely know people, who may know people, who could potentially know someone who has a couch. Asking around would be greatly appreciated, and thanks.
