Christmas

Dec 24, 2010 23:56

Well my christmas is off to a good start. My boyfriend came home for the holidays, and while we're not celebrating christmas together (he's with his family and I'm with mine) we got together today to spend an awesome day together.

Went home after that and watched some Christmas movies with my parents (It's a Wonderful Life is probably one of my favourite christmas movies), and ate our traditional finger food dinner.

Tomorrow morning we eat oatmeal and unwrap gifts and then call my sister~~~

And then I'll probably be playing World of Warcraft like the gamer I am. No amazing movie is opening Christmas Day this year (last year I went and saw Sherlock Holmes~~)

Just me and my parents. I'll probably drink too much wine and eggnog as usual. Grand~

Hopefully next year my boyfriend and I can start our own christmas traditions in our own home. ^^ With a widdle christmas tree. lol

I kind of really miss the big family Christmas experience, with aunts uncles grandparents...

I remember we used to drive to Huntsville every year to meet up with all our relatives at my grandparents house on their acreage (so there was tons of space) and we'd all have christmas dinner and stuff at a huuuuge table. But that was years ago... (when I was like 5).

Ever since then it's been the 4 of us, and now it's just 3... I'm really sad my sister couldn't fly home for christmas but she's got her own life in Nova Scotia now...

All of you people who have big clan christmas dinners are so lucky. I want that again. Ha ha.

Oh, and I LOVE the Glee Christmas album. I love Kurt and Blaine's "Baby it's cold outside" (one of my favourite winter songs Ha ha) and the fact that they sing "Welcome Christmas" from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (My favourite Christmas cartoon ^___^) and also "The Most Wonderful Day of the Year" from Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer (or I call it the misfit toys song, lol. They sing it so wonderfully.)

<333 Glee~~

You all have a very merry christmas, and a great holiday season. ^^
