Personality:
To be frank, Hazama has two sides to him. The first side is an officer of the Intelligence division in the Novus Orbis Librarium (NOL) with a rank equal to that of a Captain who helped Lieutenant Noel Vermillion in her quest to bring Major Jin Kisaragi back to headquarters. This side of Hazama is very polite, to the point, and almost cowardly to the point of refusing to battle due to not being much of a fighter. He is mysterious, but well-versed in keeping his agenda a secret and very intelligent, especially considering his job. However, all of this is simply an act.
His real side, Yuuki Terumi, is a complete asshole. From insulting people and taunting them endlessly to simply kicking their ass, Terumi is the kind of person you don't want to run into in a dark alleyway at night. In fact, running him into at all is terrible. The man will do anything to get what he wants, and considers virtually everyone to not be a threat. The worst part about his attitude is that he has the bite to back up his bark. Being so immensely powerful, he makes even the strongest people in his universe second-guess taking him on.
Terumi is as evil as evil can get. He has done horrible things to further his own goals, such as murdering former teammates after wartime, and even cutting off a child's arm after burning down his home. Oh, he also kidnapped that kid's family and left him to die. Terumi is not above fucking with people for amusement, and he certainly doesn't care much for anyone at all. He can hold quite a grudge, given that he's held one for over 100 years against the Amaterasu Unit.
In short, Terumi is quite the cynical bastard, and he's almost always smiling. He also likes boiled eggs quite a bit, and hates cats with a passion. Especially once related to an old 'friend' of his. He despises vampires as well.
Powers and Abilities:
Terumi is an unusual being in the manner of powers. He is a ghost, able to show his true form at will and even able to teleport to places while like that. It seems that he can possess people, no matter who they are, and learn many things about them during the time he possesses them. Due to this, the circumstances present in Malta could most likely not cause his death, as those circumstances aren't even present throughout most of canon. His body is another question, given that he's possessing it.
He is the creator of the true Azure Grimoire, which can absorb souls in order to grant power with activated, and also smelt those souls to create a powerful weapon using a few other ingredients that Terumi has in canon. His Azure Grimoire as of now does not have many souls within it, therefore is not full of a shitload of power. However, it does give him the ability to drain the vitality of people nearby when active. The only thing about his Azure Grimoire, unlike Ragna's, is that it's unknown what form it is or what it looks like. All that's known is that it's placed on one of his arms.
Terumi is also an incredibly skilled fighter when using his Nox Nyctores, Ouroboros. Ouroboros is a set of butterfly knives with a chain attached to them which he uses to fight, and can appear as a snake them thrown. The nature of the Nox itself allows him to use the thrown 'snakes' to grapple on to opponents, objects, and thin air in order to pull himself towards the grapple point, or drag his enemies across the battlefield like a maniac. However, he can only throw one at a time, and can't use them all in succession too quickly. Thanks to this Nox, he is also capable of using a dark green-like energy in attacks which can hurt like a bitch.
Not only that, but he is in top physical condition, despite appearances. He is agile and able to dodge moves with ease, even from the fastest of combatants. As he puts it himself, only one person is able to keep up with him by the end of Calamity Trigger.
Besides his fighting abilities, Terumi is also very resilient to attacks. It is to the point that he can have a very long battle with some of the strongest members of the cast, and only come away with a few bruises, ruffled up clothing, and his smirk in tact. He even proceeds to call it a nice warm-up in some cases.
Starter Inventory His Nox Nyctores (Ouroboros) and the true Azure Grimoire.
Anything else?: He's a smooth criminal. He has the palette color to prove it.

Ahh~ [He sighs delightfully as he takes a seat, as his aching feet stop screaming to his body. After spending most of his day looking through buildings for other people and something to occupy his time, he needed a nice rest. Especially with the blood that managed to stain his nice clothing. As much of a mood kill as zombies can be, it doesn't really affect his good mood at all. He could get used to the somewhat peaceful situation he landed in.
As he leans back against a brick wall, tipping his hand down over his eyes for a moment, his rest is disturbed by a loud snarl from beneath him. Hazama just looks down at his 'seat' as he dusts off his shoulders.]
Do you mind? I'm trying to rest for a moment. [The zombie lacking arms beneath him doesn't let up.] Please, I let you live just so long I could take a break, and this is how you repay me? For shame.
[Hazama absent-mindedly kicks the side of the undead being's head with the heel of his shoe before sighing again. This isn't so bad, really.]
