Summary: Having a brutally honest boyfriend makes you wish for a sweet and sugarcoating one.
"Will you ever do anything right?" He asked, eyes glaring and nose flaring.
Sakurai Sho, my boyfriend, was never one who could easily be pleased, and when he didn't like something, he'd tell you. He's brutally honest. Brutal.
My friends considered me not leaving him the eighth world wonder.
I only looked at him, waiting for him to leave and get some fresh air to cool down.
Three.. two..
"I'll take a walk."
Then, I was alone. Relieved for the most part. I plopped myself on the couch behind me, face down, breathing in the scent of the black and white throwpillow. I stared at the carpet and noticed the book under our coffee table. I reached for it. It was probably one of the books Sho was reading (he was an editor and he wrote book reviews-- which never got away from his brutality).
"The Art of Sugarcoating" by Jun Matsumoto.
I snorted.
"Please, have Sho pickup a thing or two from this book." I looked at the back cover and saw the picture of the author. "Impressive. He can sugarcoat and he's cute."
