SO man... It's 7:00 in the morning and I'm awake cuz Mike was making out w me.
Now my brain is filled up again.
(Mike was standing over my shoulder trying to help me get this SD card to download but it's not working... he read the first sentence and thought I was complaining. It's funny that Ami's not the reason I'm awake. I'm not complaining at all... I enjoyed myself thoroughly, in fact.)
Yesterday we went to Megan's townhouse and met Stef there. We ate chili, cornbread, carved pumpkins, and watched Army of Darkness.
Stefanie and Megan went to North Stafford and knew some of the kids I did, so we talked about that.
They talked about crazy boyfriends and crazy roommates. We were trying to figure out how to tell Ami that a boyfriend who will let her support him is a bad boyfriend.
Stefanie mentioned a roommate she had who used to shoot up heroin in the bathroom. She said this roommate was a cutter who once left one of her razors on the floor so Stef went and got tested for HIV a couple of times. Then she mentioned her roommates name which was Leslie. I thought that was funny. I have an empty Iggy Pop case because of that girl.
Carving pumpkins was fun. The whole day was pretty fantastic.
We saw our new place and did a walk through. The 3 bedrooms is really spacious and Ami gets her own tub which is really nice. We're going in tomorrow morning to sign the papers.
When we got home, one of the derby girls left me a message on Facebook asking me how I know Wes Griggs.
I told her that he was my buddy and how I knew him.
She told me her sister and Wes broke up shortly before Wes' accident. Nuts, right?
Small world.
That family was pretty messed up by it. I can understand, man... mine is still in recovery.
I left Adrienne a message telling her I was thinking about her and to send my love to her mom. The day is near. It's on a Sunday as well... Same day as 5 years ago.
