Uh.... they haven't hunted me down again yet or anything. I haven't really been talking to them. Finished making a few more toys for that one with the weird black hair, but that's about it.

But fighting here is getting us nowhere. I thought perhaps we could arrange some sort of official peace treaty. You don't like fighting, right?

Abel talked to the Embryon a long time ago, now. And they agreed to a truce, but.... then Serph got all pissed off over that stupid puppet, and said it was off. I'm not sure what they talked about afterwards, but I guess it's back on. They said the cafe place was neutral territory... didn't attack us when we were all there, anyway.

So... I don't know how much a treaty is worth to them, if Serph'll claim to throw it out over a toy. But it might be worth a try....

Yeah.... I guess so. *he's wondering who, outside the people involved in this treaty thing, would care if they did, though. There were.... uh.... what, six? seven Embryon? He wasn't too sure. Plus Bat and himself and Jinana and... wait, did Jinana even need a truce with the Embryon? Something about when they'd first spoken, here... he had a suspicion that she was on fairly good tems with them anyway.*

*hmm.... so if the Embryon broke the treaty, then even assuming that Jinana would be against them for it, they'd still be outnumbered two to one, at best. Joy.*

*so the question is, would it be better to try to keep lying low and hope the Embryon forget about him, unlikely as that might be... or step up and get them to promise to leave him and everyone else alone, and hope they keep their word?* .... *tough one.*

Actually, I've... been trying to keep busy at home here, more than keep track of what's going on around the rest of Somarium. *slightly sheepish, shrugs. He's not going to feel too bad about it.*

Do you know if this is like the "supposed to do something" kinds of laws, like everyone's just.... expected to follow, like not feeding the dog bacon even if she begs for it? Or is it more like the "no fighting in the Karma Temple" kind of law that'll get a bunch of guards after your sorry ass if you break it? *the latter is what he's hoping for. Or at least, not the former. But hell, even the former would be something, and that'd be an improvement....*
