(no subject)
Wow, wow. Yesterday was unbelievable. The experience: unforgettable. State concert festival was a success. We recieved an overall "Excellent" and much praise from music professors from other universities, including FSU and Southern University. I left the Florida State School of Music with so much pride and a feel of accomplishment. It was awesome.
I also left anticipating when I'm going to study there. I was in awe. The campus is amazing. They have at least two or three auditoriums for the School of music alone. And just to think we were only on one side/section of the campus. There are acres upon acres of that place. Spotting fraternity and sorority houses everywhere made me feel all...excited? Like I couldn't wait to attend college (this one in particular.)
I was looking at a bulletin board full of picures of the many students and the instrumental sections. Kyle comes up to me and asks "Ruben, you going here, man?" Going here?! HA! I'm way ahead of you. I replied "Yeah, definitely!" Just to think he's attending next year fills me with so much jealousy. He's so psyked about it all and is always talking about it. AHHH! I wish him the best of luck. He's a true dedicated player. I almost idolize him. Heck, why not say it in full. I idolize Kyle Manners.
The trip back to Jacksonville left me with so much to think about:
+what I'm going to do after high school
+next year in general
+...and the year after (senior)
