This whole My LJ feature is totally throwing me off.
SO! College visits today. I participated in the UWM/Marquette trip. What did I get out of the trip? I cannot wait to go to school in New York City. Yes, the UW system is nice and all. UWM would be my first pick if I was staying in-state. However, Staten Island is appealing to me even more after that trip. I got home and immediately went onto Wagners website.
The trip itself was pretty good though. We had a stupid ass bus driver that decided to go all anti-highway on us, so it took an hour + to get to UWM (in relation, it took us 20 minutes to get back to school from there.) The UWM tour basically sucked. We walked around the campus but didnt go inside buildings or really see anything. Ate lunch in the cafeteria and felt all...college like. Then off to Marquette where the tour was much better but we had to sit through an hour lecture on the school itself. Major snooze fest, especially since it was after lunch.
We got back to school a whole ten minutes early and were set free.
My parents and I are planning a Staten Island trip in the early part of '06 that Im pretty much already peeing my pants about. I warned them that upon site of Times Sqaure, I will break into hysterics. New York City has LAUREN graffitied all over it.
I did take a few pictures that need some photoshopping to make them cool, but I have an English essay to write so the pictures will have to wait.
