Holy crap. Two great chapters, although One Piece was awesome and made me sayd.
Wow. If anyone doubts(*cough*Reggie*cough*) Ace could kick every ninja's ass in existance. Ace has Hellzone Grenade and Frieza's Deathball. Pirates > all
Blackbeard stayed in hiding in Whitebeard's crew for the sole purpose of trying to find this devil fruit of darkness. He said it is the most powerful of all. I can see how it is, but also see it's biggest weakness.
Blackbeard essentially becomes a black hole. He can suck up anything in to his body's darkness and destroy it. Not only that but if he touches a devil fruit user, while he is touching them they can not use their power. Which means if he is to fight Luffy like he plans, Luffy will take a hit with out his rubber body defense. We've seen Luffy take some insane physical hits, but as insane as they were a big portion of their damage was absorbed by the face he is rubber. Very hard to hurt someone physically with rubber bones and organs.
So the chapter starts off with Blackbeard showing off his power of darkness to Ace. Blackbeard's darkness starts to engulf all of the buildings while his crew yells for the others to run. Of course the townsfolk end up running as well. Blackbeard after saying how his power is essentially gravity, it can absorb anything asks if they want the town back. So he spits out of the darkness the entire to town in splinters.
Ace of course although only being shown the power Blackbeard has (BB said he wasn't going to attack Ace yet) decided it is time to attack. HELLZONE GRENADE!! (Ace version)
Blackbeard then goes on to say "Darkness is different from all the other logia types" he can't just let things go through him as his power is to suck things up. So essentially he has to activate his power the suck instead of just activating his power to become the element and let things go straight through it. So he was hit with the "Hellzone Grenade" then sucked up the fire that was on him.(Thus his weakness as he can be hit without his element being countered sand-water electricity-rubber, etc)
Blackbeard then puts his hand out and starts to suck Ace torwards him. As Ace is being pulled torwards him Blackbeard grabs him. Ace can't turn in to fire and escape so he is hit hardcore by Blackbeard. A man who before his Darkness devil fruit was physically powerful enough to give Shanks the scar over his eye.
Blackbeard after gloating about how Devil Fruit users who think they are so great thanks to it, are in for a big eye opener as he is capable of making their powers nullified.
Blackbeard then uses his Vortex move again to suck in Ace. As Ace is going torwards Blackbeard he shoots out a "Holy Flame Sharanu" which is a fire spear that hits Blackbeard as Blackbeard hits Ace in the face.
Ace then uses a Fire Cross attack on Blackbeard which we don't see the outcome, only a big explosion. Blackbeard's sniper Auger comments on how he is impressed that Ace is much more than just a weakling with a devil fruit. Even without it he is very strong.(Well he kicked Luffy's ass when Luffy had Gomu Gomu and he had no power in hand to hand, so yeah.)
After everything calms down we see Ace bloody on the ground trying to get back up. Blackbeard once again asks Ace to join his crew. Saying even Ace's great power isn't enough to defeat Darkness.
Ace then goes on to say he would never yield to Blackbeard's power. That he would live his life without regrets. Blackbeard is disappointed as Ace could have had anything in the world if he were to join Blackbeard. So we see possibly Ace's greatest attack. "Great Fire Punishment- Fire King/Emperor!" (Deathball?!) They then clash and Ace yells he will make Whitebeard the Pirate King. The end of the chapter implies we won't know the outcome (most likely Ace lost) but it triggers an 'event'. What I do know is this event will be big. Either it is the start of the New World as some pirates have claimed is coming. Or Whitebeard goes on a rampage throughout the Grand Line in anger. Or maybe Luffy finds out and goes Enies Lobby crazy. Either way, awesome chapter.
So Shikamaru had tricked Hidan in to destroying one of Kakuzu's hearts with Kakuzu's blood. Although they are still out in the forest alone surrounded by wires with explosive tags. Kakuzu almost ripped out Kakashi's heart but Yamato, Sakura, and Sai arrived as back up to save Kakashi.
Kakuzu and the rest are essentially just talk. Yamato says Naruto is about 50% complete with adding Wind element to Rasengan. Kakashi orders Sakura and Sai to go back up Shikamaru, so they follow Pakkun who will hunt him down.
Chapter cuts to Shikamaru vs. Hidan (Immortal Akatsuki member who killed Asuma) and Hidan is trying to slash Shikamaru with his triple scythe. Shikamaru puts up his hand and the hand shadow from it grabs Hidan's arm.
Shikamaru then does a Shadow Summoning technique and shadow tentacles come off of the shadow hand that is holding Hidan's arm back. The tentacles wrap around the wires surrounding them and start to pull them around Hidan. Hidan is tied up by them and Shikamaru throws a dagger at a target on the ground which causes a giant hole to open up under Hidan who is hanging in midair trapped by all the wires covered in explosive tags.
Hidan starts ridiculing him that he is immortal and even if only his head is left he will be alive and come bite his throat out. Shikamaru lights a cigarette putting the pack down on the ground after. Hidan says it is too bad Shikamaru did not praise his god, as he to could have been immortal. But it is too late now and he will die.
Shikamaru tells Hidan that the ground they are on is owned by his clan. That the shadows will hold him down in that hole in pieces for all eternity. Hidan then realizes that Shikamaru led Hidan there on purpose and he fell completely in to his trap.
Shikamaru then has an Asuma illusion talk to him, saying how he passed his will of fire to Shikamaru. The Asuma fades away with the cigarette's smoke and Shikamaru tosses the cigarette at Hidan. Then all the explosive tags explode that are surrounding Hidan from the Cigarette igniting one. That is ultimate PWN.
Shikamaru just single handedly took down an immortal Akatsuki member. One who was capable of killing Asuma.
Bleach was just Chad vs. some Afro Arracnar. Chad's arm evolved at the end after he was getting owned. That about sums it up =\ Bleach manga will eventually stop being boooooring.
