A pleasant morning was soapily spent washing cars. A run-in with Cam, words and hugs shared with Steven, conversing with many more... and far too many sweets consumed (and payed for!).
Laura and I went on an excursion to Rasputin (my very first time- an extremely tight place) to purchase two copies of Picaresque (!). Also, Iron and Wine's Woman King EP for myself.
Then Sarah, Heather, Mother, Father, Grandmother, and I journeyed to Hunan Taste for the greatest, spiciest Chinese this side of anywhere. We thought we saw Frances, but we were mistaken. Sarah was introduced to the glorious fire of meat pie and hunan shrimp, which even she (the girl who puts tabasco sauce on nearly everything she eats) found quite spicy.
Then our adventure began. It involved: Heather sobbing, Darren and the police, and us driving him to his car which was quite difficult to find. Everything ended up just fine, with charges dropped and him home safely and the six of us eating cake and ice cream at my house.
As for Picaresque, it was well worth the suspense. I believe I am on my 4th listen so far, and I just fall more in love each time.
Sixteen does not feel any different, but it sure sounds different.
