Yay, mom called me around midday and told me there's a parcel for me! I allowed her to open it, and it's actually my YesAsia-order. *goes hyper*
That means tonight I can watch "NeverEndingWonderfulStory". *bounce*
And I got the "Shuji to Akira"-single "Seishun Amigo". lucky!
These happy NEWS are almost enough to make me forget my headache.
Yesterday night was an information-evening for the guest-families that will take in a Japanese Student for 2and-a-half weeks. This year, organisation was _so_ chaotic, but now we at least know the reason... There's a completely new staff responsible at the Japanese school, so this years Going-Abroad for the students is as if it were the first time it ever happened at that school *sighs* And we have been worrying, if our letter didn't arrive at our guest, because we didn't receive an answer for such a long time...
Tomorrow we're going to fetch our guest from the airport. I hope she's nice. Unlike our 'kids' from the past two years, this one should at least be able to communicate in English, if all else fails - she's lived in Sydney for three years. So even if her German might be beneath grave-level, at least dad and I should be able to understand her English. ... Poor mom, though... *giggles*
Did I mention I'm kind of nervous about our guest? I am everytime, though, so it doesn't really matter. ^__^
Anyway, should return to doing some more work - or else I won't survive meeting my boss tomorrow. ^_~
