Crazy Days
Underground Strings. A cracky name for what's usually been a pretty cracktastic time after school on Fridays now. I blame Tiana for making me think that it sounds like a black market for drugs.
Today, all things considered, it was pretty fun today - not just playing. We ended up going inside the multi-purpose room today for PE. I thought it'd be pretty boring...
But it was the best freaking PE ever.
Free for all dodge ball, with two balls, in an enclosed area. Play friendsies (as Mr. Carey calls it) and you're likely to get hit by them later. Everyone was in, and it counted as a hit if you dropped the ball when you tried to catch it, and it counted as an out if the ball ricocheted off a wall at you. It was insane. We played about five games - Mary actually won the first time; that was hilarious because the last remaining guy dropped the ball when he went after her and she kinda bounced it off his head. XD Then Jocelyn won, after that it was Martin vs. Nick M. (and sadly, Nick lost >_>;;), then it was Kerry's win, I believe, in the all girls game. Then in the all guys game, I forget who won. xD
Some key points:
- During the guys' game, Nick somehow managed to sort of 'Matrix' his way past three ricocheting balls in quick succession, and struck a victory pose in the middle of the floor - then he dropped the ball and got hit trying to retrieve it >.>
- Somehow managed to 'Matrix' my own way past three or four balls before getting hit head on >.> Tripped over my own two feet jumping over one of the incoming ones, but I stayed alive for another ten seconds :D
- Tina fell over after getting nailed by one in the same game. x_x Talk about a knock to the head...
- Kerry and Tramy were vicious in the all-girls game - I got taken out by Kerry when I ran after the ball. Unfortunately, guess who got it first? =_=;; At least I lasted a fairly long time...
- Many, many balls ricocheting multiple times through corners - the place was like a minefield. It looked like a kung-fu movie the way most of us were jumping over them and dodging them.
- Many betrayals among the guys - no friendsies there. Whipped around and hurled them at each other. xD;;
- All guys game? Started off with all twenty of them diving for the balls, with a sudden last-minute back pedal when they suddenly realized they had better run like hell.
- Girls game? Kinda suckyish, a lot of us were hesitant to out each other; consisted mainly of tentative girls bouncing the ball off the friend next to them. =_=;; Thankfully, there were quite a number of us happy to take advantage of the situation.
- Ricocheting ball bounced and nailed both Lauren and Liezl o_o;; another one bounced off the back of Kim's head
Definitely an awesome PE block, for once. I wanna play again T_T;;
The rest of the day was rather average, unless you count getting erasers thrown at my head during Block 3 unnatural nowadays. However, a huge crowd gathered to watch the Boy Brigade, Lisa, Vyvyan, and Leslie play Rock-Papers-Scissors Splits. And neither Yennhi nor I can count very well when playing Slide against each other. xD
And during Underground Strings...
- Nick tried to implode himself by downing a third of a bottle of Coke in one go, twice
- Jimmy fails at tuning basses xD
- Mom called my cell a couple times. =_=;;
- Nick saying that his ass hurt (really, really didn't need to know that, and that's what he gets for not sitting still)
- Boys and their jokes... -.-;;
Nick: Khue! Look at this! If you need to pee... *turns cello around*
Khue: What the - oh, yechh! Nick!
*Leslie snickering in the background*
- An impromptu light-saber/cello bow battle that resulted in a mini rosin explosion XD
Nick: Khue! The power... of the light-saber! <- not really, but close enough >_>
*raises bow in challenge*
Khue: Jedi!
Tina: You're gonna break the bows! o.o;;
*clash*
POOF.
*rosin dust cloud of epic proportions explodes from Khue's newly rosined bow*
Nick, Khue, and Jimmy: O_O *stare*
Jimmy: I saw that rosin dust, you know! O_O *still staring*
