This painting is, in fact, on white paper. Using bright fiery yellows and oranges to suggest a sun birthing a fire bird, there still lies barely noticeable hints of black at the edges of the paper. While there is triumphant existence, troubles, and the antithesis of this living also await. Crinkly from watered down acrylic, it still only adds to the life of the painting.
