He drinks and smokes, and does the occasional recreational drug-maybe some Special K out at the club with his boyfriend once every month or more. He went to Sunday School as a child, but his parents never forced any religion on him. As he grew older, he found it increasingly difficult to believe that anyone could know that there was indeed a higher power, or what that power was and how it and their own lives came to be. He doesn't really care what other people think in terms of Religion or Politics. He follows his own views and lets people follow theirs. This could very well stem from the fact that his extended family is loud, obnoxious, and opinionated. Perhaps he subconsonsciously wants to balance them out by not giving a damn either way. All he knows for sure is that as much as he doesn't care about Religion, a part of him is thinking that maybe he doesn't believe because he's jealous, and too damn proud to check it out on his own. Roleplay example (links to compilation journals are great): Matt passed the church every day on his way to and from work. Every day, he would slow a little, to watch the people filing in and out, or to read the daily 'God Loves You!' message posted on the sign. And every day, he would shake his head at so many people letting their brains get rotted out with this God and Jesus shit.
