Mood and creativity upswing hit around the same time as spring. Seasonal Affective Disorder is starting to look very likely. I should go back through my archives to see what my mood was like the past couple winters.
I was just thinking about what fic to upload to my Zune to read during the lulls in class and that reminded me of the atrocious fic I read last week. The prose was fantastically good but the story? I wanted to set everything on fire.
I did not name the fic but I remember its title clearly and now I think it is the worst possible title to give to that fic. When I really thought about it, it made no sense - if the title suggests the attraction comes from the emotional/mental then why was Derek's attraction to Stiles depicted in purely physical terms? The bloody thing had Derek idly (or not idly? I couldn't fucking tell) noting Stiles' physical features and what he'd like to do with them and there was no hint that the attraction went beyond purely lust. Also, creepy considering half the fic was Stiles being all Nice Guy to Lydia.
Then again, I didn't finish the fic. My brain couldn't take it and I wanted to throw my mp3 player against the wall in the middle of lecture.
