A Pandora's box of shiny new things!
Well first of all Mom has classes at one of the billion community colleges here on Wednesdays and Fridays, meaning while she's gone I can bring out my tablet and Photoshop that porny hot mess.
Priorities, self.
Back home, :|ing at all the books. Why do I have so many. Making a big show of chucking out a bunch of books I don't read anymore to make way for even more books that I do read, plus I'm bringing my big ass bookcase into my room to have MORE space for books. Also took up two shelves in the computer room for even MORE books. I have all these other things to unpack and my printer cords to dig up but seriously, got to organize my books first. Because I have more books than clothes.
But firstly I went back to Howrse.com and did a bit of summer cleaning there, too; haven't been there for over a year and ye gods what the hell was I trying to do with all these horses? Anyway I went and made an Excel spreadsheet to figure out why I have these horses and what my goals were with them. Feel free to join me there (my moniker there is "The Fifth Estate") and at Final Furlong (my farm's RC Bee, a holdover from my Transformers fandom; I'm a little ugh at it but it stands out as an atypical farm name so there you go).
And then I made my brother hook up the PS3 and clear out some save files so I can start playing Dragon Age: Origins. Oh my god this game. I'm still fumbling around a bit because I've been messing with Oblivion for so damn long but oh man this game fucking rocks. Unfortunately for my principles I'm more than a bit smitten with Alistair's fucking glorious snark, so I'll just go m/f here and get out of my comfort zone in Dragon Age 2 by playing a male character. then I'll hook up with Fenris because while Anders is ridiculously adorable with his obsession with kitties I'm a sucker for Mr. McBroody. But I'd rather marry Varric on the astral plane.
So basically, fuck everything else I'mma summer clean and dick around with virtual horses and slaughter Darkspawn, whoo!
...also I'll be editing fic. Argh.
