I suppose a lot of fandoms and fanfiction serve as escapism for socially crippled folks, and to see their pure, beautiful escapes besmirched is enough for a near-psychotic episode.

I copy-pasted my reply to twitlonger, made edits, and then copy-pasted the entire thing back to dA, including the ditty at the beginning about her journal entry, so now she knows I'm sharing my opinions with others. I am so not going back there to see if she replied after that.

She did respond to my other comment about fandom, Sturgeon's Law, and No True Scotsman. She admitted to writing a fic or two, but that it was when she was young and also it was mindless fun or something? Hypocrisy much?
