How not to stick to one project from beginning to end.

I need to train my brain to shut up and focus on one goddamn thing at a time. I have the deancasbigbang fic to finish so that my artist can at least have the rough draft to work off of but nooooo not only is IRL trying to paralyze me but my brain thinks now's an excellent time to plant a few ideas and let them grow. Now they're in my head jostling for all the nutrients, water, and sunlight.

So, besides the deancasbigbang fic, The Bookshop, 30_romances, the
backtoschool fic, and the NaNoWriMo 2009 fic I have

• an mpreg/kid/domestic/future!fic oneshot (a superfecta of everything I don't write!)
  
  
• a horse racing AU oneshot (I hope to hell this stays a oneshot)
  
  
• Dean/Castiel + Crowley oneshot (may or may not involve porn?) It involved porn.
  
  
• a Supernatural/Stardust fusion fic (wtffffffffff)

So I've come down to these two premises for the Supernatural/Stardust fusion fic (this is not taking into account how closely/loosely I'll follow the movie and/or book) (also, this cannot be happening to me, oh my god fuck a duck):

• Sam is the Tristan fetching the fallen star for [I have no idea, let me get back to you on it], and Dean's his brother who tags along and falls in love with the star, Castiel. In this case Sam and Dean would be half-brothers and Dean's the one with Stormhold blood.

or

• Castiel is the Tristan; James (Jimmy) is the Dunstan; Anna is the Lady Una; Amelia is the Daisy; Claire is the Louisa; Meg is the Victoria; Brady is the Humphrey; Sarah has a special role as Castiel's best friend; Dean is the fallen star; Sam is another star who falls to find Dean; God is Lord of Stormhold; our lovely archangels Michael, Lucifer, Gabriel, and Raphael are the surviving sons of the Lord of Stormhold; Zachariah and Uriel are the dead sons; Bela is Ditchwater Sal; the Lilim are Lilith, Ruby, and Tammi; Captain Shakespeare and Ferdy the Fence are Bobby and Crowley; and did I tell you that this is the worst idea ever?
