> While at seminar today, Mom calls me and is "in trouble and having problems." After much questioning, I get to that she says men and women around there are "fooling around, probably have kids, I don't know." I asked what was wrong with that. "They are coming in here wanting me to do the same thing." I asked, "Mom are you trying to tell me men are trying to have sex with you?" "Yes, men and women also; I guess they think they are funny." Needless to say, I called the nurses station about to die laughing and asked if someone tried to give Mom a shower. She said let me check the schedule. So she starts reading something (I can hear her) and says yes, today is her day and she wasn't cooperating, so they called Reggie in to help. So I let her in on the joke.
> She said no wonder Reggie looked funny when he came out of her room. A Friend saw me outside and told me she was having a bad day. I told her that I could make her laugh. She didn't think so, so I shared Mom's story. She didn't smile or crack a smile. I said, "You know that's funny." She grinned and said, "Your mom has Alzheimers, right?" I said, "Yes." She said, "I guess you ought to be glad that she still knows what it is." I said, "Not really, if she thinks that is what they were doing when they were trying to get her to take a shower." We both cracked up
