Dude, I just beat that thing last night. The ice glyph + strong scythe combination attack does a TON of damage to it.

The hammer wasn't doing much. Vol Facis was faster and doing more damage.

ah...I just double armed the Ice glyph and spammed anyways...also I suck at dodging. Maybe I'll have better luck today.

Yeah, ice glyph does a ton of damage. Stock up on potions and shit, that's how I survived.
