WOW.
So I just created the most ridiculous, bastardized hybrid computer stereo system I think this house has ever seen. 2 subs, 2 fronts, 2 rears. The sub from old Altec speakers from like...1996 puts out a lot more punchy bass, and the sub from my bro's old Creatives puts out more solid notes at a lower range. The Altecs (which are the fronts) put out a little more mid-range, and the Creatives as the rears (really they're to the sides of me) put out more treble. It makes a ridiculous amalgam of noise-beauty around my head. Step outside the "box of sound," however, and it still doesn't sound bad. When I had the Creative speakers running all 4 (front LR and rear LR), you'd lose the effect entirely when you left the chair. Not any more.
Other than that, being home is bittersweet. I like mom's new car, I like having a car that I can use consistently, and as soon as Jason gets here (around 9 tonight) I'll like having him around. But I do miss living with Jeff and being, relatively, only a stone's throw away from a lot of people I love. I guess that's life though. There are always changes.
