On a random note. D:
For people cos'ing Reborn for y-con.
:3 Anyone up for hitting a BAR for a photo shoot/gathering at night? Almost all hotels have bars from my knowledge so it shouldn't be too hard finding a few stools or seats for simple pictures. ^^
Anyone interesteeeeddd? D:
Time candidates:
Friday night at 9 PM.
Yes? No?
If anyone plans to drink, it's always better to drink AFTER dinner and assuming everyone has eaten SOMETHING by that time, I say around 9. I figured it's also better to set an exact time EARLIER so, people can make dinner plans BEFORE too.
Location candidates:
- Marriot San Mateo
It has a lobby bar.
Best and only candidate I can find at the moment. Least amount of travelling for sure. x_x;;
If anyone has any other ideas for bars around that area, drop me a note. ^^;
Just so you know, INNES do NOT have bars! HOTELS do. x_x;
Also, if I also get an EXACT head count on who would be showing up, I can try making reservations. (but then bars don't exactly take reservations. x_x;;) If anything, I can go there maybe 30 min earlier and start snagging seats. XD (help would be welcome. LOL)
The shoot shouldn't take TOO long. An hour at most. So, you won't be going back to your hotels TOO late. =/ Everyone should have some sleep at cons (even if I know many of my friends will disagree with me on this. XD)
Them rules!:
- You must have valid ID to show you're over 21 to order booze.
- Bring some money. >_>;;
- At least half of the group should order something (I'm sure they have other stuff aside from alcoholic drinks too). x_X It's just rude to just take pics and leave. We are intruding their business.
- Get someone with a nice camera to take photos in a dimly lit area. (Maybe it's just me but, I've never been to a BRIGHT bar. @_@;;)
- You MUST act your age. X_X;; Again, we would be invading a public business (a BAR is NOT part of a con!) so, please keep the commotion down. =X like. . . don't get seriously drunk. (a partial reminder to myself cuz I'm a sleepy drunk. >_>;) Also no table top dancing. Even if it's tempting. XDDDD
- If you're DRIVING, DO NOT DRINK. NOT EVEN A BIT. -_-;
Let's be a GOOD fan with MANNERS even during cosplaying. =_=; I sound so old. haha. . .
