Since I've been a bad person and I haven't been replying to some people's questions regarding myself. . . O_o goodness, what do you want to know about me? LOL
YES! Friending is more than welcome! But, don't expect me to friend you back since I usually ramble about my RL problems a lot and I don't like people reading it too much. x_x I really feel bad sometimes.
Um, yes I do take art commissions (once in a blue moon) but, not this month since I'm busy as hell. O_o As for prices and stuff, I'll ask how much you're willing to charge first and we will discuss about it. (this does not apply to people on my f-list exactly. ._.;)
Yes, I do take translation commissions too, but not at the moment yet again. I won't charge anything for one line stuff or something simple. Manga, magazine articles, drama CDs, full anime episodes I will charge depending on how much you want. And if it's a series I don't know, I will have to think about it since it will require me to research more and think more. x_x; (same as above, it won't apply to my f-list.)
Yes, you can purchase my doujinshis. O_o; I'm not too sure what a particular someone meant when they said they wanted to buy my doujinshi. Either my-mine or they want me to pick something up from Japan. The only doujinshi I'm selling that's mine at the moment is the Kira fanbook one. Aside from that, NO. I am NOT going to pick anything up for anyone outside my f-list. I'm sorry, but I'm not too willing to give my address out to so many people. >_o;

No, I'm not a Japanese in Japan. D: Well, I am but at the same time I'm not. According to my passport, I'm a citizen in the Kanagawa prefecture tho. =/ I'm American, by the way. ^^; Now, whether you trust my translations or not is up to you. I should start calling them "interpretations". XD
Um, yeah. . . I dunno why someone wanted a tutorial of how I doodle back a few months ago and I totally forgot about it but . . . I can't make a tutorial right now so. . . uh I'll at least explain my main tools of trade.
I draw using a double sided brush pen that monochromanic recc'd me. It's a black and grey one. It's better than using grey markers since it doesn't leak through the paper most of the time. Also I use microns most of the time since it's 1- cheap, 2- easy to get, 3- I can carry it around without worries of it leaking. Zig pens are way better, but it's not easy to find in your local stationary store so. . . I stick to microns. To sketch I use a mint-blue erasable lead. It works just as good as a non-repro blue pencil. To color, I use either photoshop 7.0 or Open Canvas 3. I rarely use real mediums to color, simply because I don't own any tools to color unfortunately.
Other tools I use sometimes but, rarely: Markers (last resort to coloring), G-nib / maru-pen (if I have time to clean), bamboo brush (I love it, but I hate cleaning), watercolor (another last resort), rapidograph (again, last resort). I HATE cleaning with a passion.
As for cosplay item question. . .
I make my jewelry with bakeable clay and paint it silver. That's it. To carve, I use a few clay tools but, majority of my carvings are done with a toothpic. It's cheap, looks decent (?!) and from far away, no one will see the mistakes. XDDDD
Uhh, yes I am going to Japan soon. :D I'm gonna go to comiket on the 29th and 30th. (again, no I won't pick anything up from people outside my f-list. . . minus the people I've spoken/consulted with) and on the 1st, I'll most likely be in Kyoto. On the 3rd I hopefully will go to watch the Bleach movie and go to the Bleach event at Ikebukuro. If anyone wants to catch me then, leave me a comment and maybe we can arrange something, no? XD LJ meeetttt~
