._. I went through a 3 hour lecture on TEA today. :D Long but quite interesting to be honest. We learned the differences of White, Black, Oolong, Pu-erh and Green teas. =X They're all from the same plant, but it's just treated differently to make the difference. XD And triviaaaa~~~ I always thought Orange Pekoe was supposed to be an orange flavored tea. I always wondered why it didn't taste like oranges. . . >_> No duh. The "Orange" in Orange Pekoe is from a PERSON named Orange. harharhar x_x; And Pekoe. . . there's no such word as Pekoe apparently. . . it's just some word in another language (I'm guessing Indian?) where the English tried to spell it out and ended up as Pekoe. . . x_x; engrishhhhhh?

Anyhow, yeah. . . learning all sorts of tea and tasting a bunch of them was pretty fun. ._. I ended up taking like 2 pages worth of notes. x_x; That's more than taking notes in class! Oh well, at least I can recite my newly obtained knowledge to people now and act s-a-m-r-t. *snort*

It seems like White Tea is pretty popular in the States now, but NEVER EVER drink the Snapple white teas! Unless you want nasty SUGAR WATER, don't you DARE drink it! O_O Seriously. Adding SUGAR to white tea is like dumping sugar in green tea. And you know how retarded that is, right? >_>;; Good. lol

Hrm, process of making Jasmine tea was pretty interesting too. I always wondered why jasmine tea was considered a green tea when the plant of jasmine isn't a tea plant. (a tea plant is from a family of a camelia plant apparently) =X It's just flower scented green tea pretty much. ._.; Just like how Earl Grey is just black tea with citric oil. >_>;

It sucks that I wasn't paid for going there, but ehh I thought it was worth learning all this even if I wasn't paid. =X It's not something you can learn so easily so I take it as a good opportunity to learn stuff. :D

:D I love teaaaa~~~~~~~~

Oh, and I met up with sw_inku today. Umm. . . . yeah, take me to that chocolate restaurant next time. :D choco choco~
