BACK! Sorta. I came back a few hours ago (like 9 PM. it's 3 AM now) from San Fran and ate and crap I'm so tired. >_> 7 days without internet. HEY, INTERNET IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!! Took me an hour to backlog everything! I AM NOT replying to anyone's post cuz I don't have the energy and WILL to. I will read and reply to comments LATER. D:
WELL! Um, (not-so) con report!
First off, I wanna give shoutouts to everyone I met and saw and talked to and stuff stuff (omg those who didn't say HI to me. . . just watch, I'll hunt you down and wring your neck and get a HI out of you. >:D)
- Off work at 8 PM (jun 29)
- Went to sw_inku's place and put together IshiIchi doujinshi.
- Was her little Satan that looked over her shoulder so she'll work.
- Got work done and packed, dragged her to my place at 2 AM.
- Rolled around for a while.
- Woke up at 6 AM.
- Waited for car service that was LATE.
- Got to LaG airport, fucked around with the E-ticket machine. . .
- Sat down at airport on time until. . .
Guy- "Well, our flight to Dallas is going to be delayed due to a MISSING PART IN THE COCKPIT. Your flight is going to be delayed until 10 AM!"
Me and SW- OMGWTFBBQ? You ain shitting me please! T___T BAHH!
Guy @ 9:30- "Well, we thought we will be able to fly at 10 AM, but it looks like it'll be delayed even more since we found the part in BOSTON. Sorry folks!"
Me and SW- . . . Boston? . . . Missing part? No wai. T_T;;
- Flight delayed for 2 hours, but flew to Dallas anyway.
- Got passed around from flight to flight like hot potatoes.
- 3-4 more extra hours of wait before leaving Dallas to Santa Ana.
- architecture @ Dallas airport.
- SW bought a cowboy hat there. ._.;
- Arrived in Santa Ana like hellish late and feeling horrible for making peroxidepest17 (Taichou), jen_kat (Jen) and others to wait for us at the airport. T_T Damn you airplane!
- Instantly met Taichou at the Sheraton.
- Went out to dinner with her and Joanne (was it her?! I'm horrible with names!)
- Went back to hotel where we met explodinguterus (JaB)
- SW and JaB exchanged some hairy men lovin'. It was a glorious moment. :D
- Dumped stuff in the hotel room and met Jen who brought capt_koki (Eve) along.
- Chilled in the room for a while with everyone and talked with Eve in person finally. I think I got raped somewhere along the way tho XD
- Met up with Yoshi (Jen's boyfriend) and Greg (our roomie) and. . . I guess slept. o_o;
- Woke up and went to the express line for registration with Jen (cuz our room was full of staffies and we got to be the special people)
- SW with our Ichigo and the cowboy hat. :D
- Jen spotted some pretty AG cosplayers so I took piccies of them while in line~
- Upon getting our passes, we went to the artist's alley where we met Taichou and set up.
- Spotted a Nekozawa senpai and we chatted for a while. :D She came back to our table later. ^^
- Eve as school girl Ishida that I drew last year~ XD
- para (para) stopped by our table where we sold div14 doujinshis!
- I took a wander around a bit (I forget why) and met an AWESOME Sena cosplayer. TELL ME THAT'S AWESOME?!
Check out our table on day 1. Doesn't it look abundant? Well, day 3 it was empty. ._.; That's Jen in the back of SW btw. But already our doujin stack is small (we SOLD OUT of our doujinshi in a DAY!)
- TenTen cosplayers~ I thought the curls were the awesomest thing evar. XD
- AND LOOK WHO STOPPED BY MY TABLE?! O_O I was surprised she even recognized me! @_@ It's gem2niki as Allen! I was seriously GAWKING at her cosplay (and thanking she didn't bleach her hair! durhurhur) I hope you didn't have an arm ache after the con. XD
- Checking out some BLEACHies.
- Some ghetto Final Fantasy meet on the roof. >_>;; TOO HOT to even stay there long enough to see a damned meet. X_X;;
- More cosplayers~ Zangetsu, Metal Gear Solid (hot exclamation point, right?), katamari. . .
- Oh oh oh, guess who this sexy Turk with the fly swatter is! XDDDD finnimon (Finni) found us and well. . . we found her too! XD
- CALL ME HORRIBLE! I was SHOUTING and SCREAMING (hollaring) at every Gintama cosplayer that passed by my table. XD I was all "GIN-SAN! PIC PLZ!" hah
- THERE needs to be more Digimon cosplayers. T^T Me and Jen were all AHH DIGIMON *fangirl* XD
- First day WORK. . . DONE! Ichigo finds a spot on SW's hat. XD Oh yeah! At the artist's alley, we befriended two awesome artists I'm gonna just give shoutouts to. =P One is monochromanic (Grace) who sat next to us and persona_kun (Jon) who was across from us and came around asking for some loose change like a homeless bum XD and yeah it was so cool chilling with them for 3 days.
- Before going to dinner, I stopped two lovely Kagura cosplayers. XD Like I said, I tried to stop every Gintama cosplayer I spotted. haha XD
- We went out to eat with Jen and Taichou after that. . . IHop again. . .XD
- Back in the room, JaB was making her Roxas outfit and Taichou is just lounging in the back while SW was making her Lambo shirt and Greg was just on the laptop.
- Then I went out at night with Jen to see oceanizer (ocean) and e1njuwannakno (e1n) and tsubasa_gaki (Tsuba) and we karaoked Kuraki Mai's Always (from Detective Conan). XDDDD
First day and can you tell I talk too much? haha Anyway. X_X I'll do entries about day 2 and on tomorrow. Expect a lot more shit from me tomorrow.
BTW check this awesome comic out that e1njuwannakno drew. This is so true that it almost hurts. XD The one on the bottom is e1n, ocean and Tsuba. I was actually around them to see it all happen. ahaha
And I wanna say sorry to dm_san who I did meet couple of times but never was able to chill with. T_T Um, let's chill in the city next time, kay? T^Tb
