What I've been up to for the last month...

My job has a yearly contest to decorate the office with a theme. This year my department chose a Las Vegas Theme. Specifically, the New York New York Hotel & Casino.
So I spent about a week on a poster and thanks to the joys of Photoshop and a Plotter machine that let me print a huge poster, I did this:



The printed version has some text on it and is about 39" x 30".

But I couldn't stop there. I decided to recreate the NY NY Rollercoaster.
Not having a good arial picture posed a problem but I figured screw it, I'll just make a roller coaster and make it look cool.
So with coming in to work 2 hours early and leaving 4 to 5 hours late for about two weeks, I did this:




It's not finished, however. I still need to finish putting in support struts to make it look legit. As it is, it's about 50ft long. The Powers That Be at work liked it so much it might be up past Christmas. I should have better photos by then I hope:)
