I have a cello!!!
I got to practice this morning for the very first time since... my juries actually, 3 weeks ago or so. Went with mom to borrow a cello from Nicholas; it's a really nice instrument, unusually mellow for a CK cello, but a little softer than the one I'm used to. I'm really excited that I'm going to be able to take lessons from Mrs. Ching this summer. I talked to Mrs. Trubitt, Mrs. Fu, and Mayumi already.
On Friday, Rod and I went to Ward and had dinner at the Chowder House before seeing the movie, See No Evil. I think that the only other scary movie I've seen in the theatre before was The Grudge, and it wasn't that bad because everyone in the theatre was screaming. I was freaked out though, and it doesn't help that Rod keeps making eye pulling-out motions, lol. Saturday, we walked around Ala Moana, saw $98 bikinis, he pulled his pants off on the side of the street (but was wearing board shorts underneath), walked 6 miles through Waikiki, stopped at the hyatt and hung out by the pool, walked back along the beach as the sun set, then we went to pearlridge and I bought the cutest shoes ^_^. It was an amazing day, and I have a few pictures i'll try to post later. He even got gorgeous pictures of the sunset! We spent Sunday inside and watched a movie called Bcuz of You. It was really good even though partially in Tagalog. Thank goodness for subtitles ^_^'' We went to my auntie's house for dinner, and my cousin, Shelly cut my hair. It's not as short as usual but it feels a lot lighter. On monday I made dinner for my parents but got really sick as I was walking. When I was at Rod's I was incredibly feverish. Thankfully after he helped me shower and had me rest my fever went down a bit. Yesterday it was only my throat bothering me; I picked up the first two Final Destination movies on my way to his work and we had curry house for dinner X9. I really enjoyed the two movies and I can't wait for the third to come out.
