So I went to the home yesterday after many phone calls were made. To bring everyone up to speed, the hospital gave me a few phone numbers, five to be exact. Only two of the five are still in working use. Of the two, one rings and rings and rings, and is supposedly her grandmother. WHY didn't the people at the home have the body picked up? I don't want to question the reality of the story - I saw the pictures of the original post and you can't make that shit up. But when someone dies, don't they have someone to pick 'em up and take 'em to the morgue? I never heard of leaving someone for 14 hours with bags of ice on them.

You do definitely win for craziest story on LJ.

This reminds me of the lady who had to be surgically removed from her couch because her skin melded with the upholstery. I think I'd trade Shay for the Couch lady any day though!
