I thought I knew insane. I didn't know insane.

There is a story to be told here. Statik and I are talking about it, because the S. story is eating up a lot of our mindspace right now. Rather than get right into this whole thing, I would like to begin by giving a brief setup.

The heroes of the story. )

Yeah, tell me about it. Like I said above, I am just glad that none of this happened at my place. Had it, there would have been HELL to pay.

When weighed in hospital, she came in at 483 pounds.

She has yet to be diagnosed. I am hoping she gets transferred soon.

I've been updating her progress as I have gotten info. Check the more recent entries.

I was actually wondering about her mental state too. The duffle bag of empty bottles & food wrappers + the bottles of urine...that behaviour is way out there. It's like she was trying to hide an eating disorder or something.

I dunno about the piss-filled bottles though.

Nip/Tuck's premiere episode had a similar story. I thought of that too.

They must have based it off of that story, because when I read it I thought of that episode!

I saw that episode too... it was identical! So sad though.

I missed that episode, unfortunately.

I wanted to see it. What happened in it?

OMG...

She was literally GRAFTED to the couch! And lying in her own filth.

Eww!

"Emergency workers had to remove some sliding glass doors and lift the couch, with Grinds still on it, to a trailer behind a pickup truck. Removing her from the couch would be too painful, since her body was grafted to the fabric. After years of staying put, her skin had literally become one with the sofa and had to be surgically removed."

HOLY SHIT! I didn't know the human body was capable of that.
