I never seem to post here anymore, but with the events of last week I thought it prudent (once I, er, finally thought of it) to post a brief 'I'm not dead' entry. We were not home when the tornado came, so Paul and I are safe. The house, however....total loss. We've been able to find three of the four kitties, but Beauty is still missing. There's not really a way to express in words everything that's gone on since last Monday, so I'll let the picture do that for me. This is from the Huffington Post slideshow on the damage. My house is (or was) the one with the large tank right behind it.

It's going to be okay, it's just not going to be a quick or easy process. We're survivors, though.
