Once upon a time, due to burnout, differing interests and work schedules, fandom and I got an amicable divorce. As part of the settlement, fandom got custody of this journal, which it appears fandom stuffed into its safe deposit box and kept for posterity.

While fandom long since gave up with the 'hey, baby, I miss you' phone calls, we'd stay in distant but casual touch by the occasional 'Like' on each other's FB posts. And not too long ago I got a message with a key in it, the one to this journal. 'It was never really mine,' fandom said. 'We shared it, we had lots of fun and more memories than can be counted, but the space is yours. Don't give it up just because of me.'

So, I plan to air out and dust off the space. Fandom and I aren't married anymore, but we do hook up from time to time. XD If fandom was the one who gave you the password, no harm no foul if you don't want to stick around just for me. Things change, people change, and no matter what, life goes on.

Mine did. And I think I might be ready to share it again.

And happy birthday Tezuka, because no matter whether fandom and I screw each other's brains out or not, you are still made of awesome. ♥

rambling, abstracy busyness, o hai thar, i can be dramaqueen?
