Diversity is a good thing, right?

Snagged this from both aphoticdivinity and 42detsune, as their respective posts popped up back to back when I checked my flist earlier today XD

I actually ended up with some repeats, which is interesting (apparently I write differently at different times? lol). And I’m wondering how accurate or random this thing actually is, since my styles seem to be really inconsistent (tho I’ve noticed that’s a trend with others who’ve tried it >.>) and all over the place XD Also, I kind of got carried away since I was having fun, so I cut a few of the answers to save ppl's flists a bit ^^;;

A paragraph from my first Nano (done in '08):

I write like
Stephen King
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

(this pleases me XD)

and then some dialogue from the same story:

I write like
Kurt Vonnegut
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

First paragraph from last year's Nano (09):

I write like
Isaac Asimov
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

(this makes me happy since it was a sci-fi story, so yay \o/)

then some text from later on:

I write like
Jack London
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

and finally, some dialogue:

I write like
Vladimir Nabokov
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

(really? o.o)

From one of my Fruits Basket fics from back in the day (don't judge me :P)

I write like
J. K. Rowling
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

(hehe!)

The beginning of a short story I started a while ago and have yet to go back to:

I write like
Stephen King
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

My latest lj entry in all its angsty-ness:

I write like
J. D. Salinger
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

My very first lj post ever, from back in '03:

I write like
Stephen King
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

(lol!! I don't see how, but ok XD also, checking that out reminded me that my lj will be 7 years old this weekend, wow o.o)

and an lj entry from the other day that involved fangirling and other nonsense:

I write like
Margaret Atwood
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

Interesting... I got Stephen King three times out of ten, tho, so that's pretty cool. Not sure what to make of the rest of it, tho XD

ETA: And, for the hell of it, this post :P

I write like
Dan Brown
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!
