You know, I have to wonder if the ppl who write these 'Syfy' movies actually even try or if they figure 'what the hell' XD Not to mention how so many awesome actors end up in these things-- then again, everyone has to pay the bills somehow, I guess? :P That or maybe they just do it for the lulz (I would totally not be surprised if that's why Misha did it, he seems like that type of a guy XD) Yes, I am talking about this weekend's
"Stonehenge Apocalypse" (which I watched late last night, tho Teh Pretty kept me awake, lol).
That being said, it was bad enough to be funny (as many 'Syfy' movies seem to be-- I haven't seen a lot, but just hearing about things like "Sharktopus" or whatever does not give me great hope, lol) and there was all kind of crossover going on in there: we had Misha Collins (Supernatural), Torri Higginson (Stargate: Atlantis), Peter Wingfield i almost wrote 'Methos', lol (Highlander), David Lewis (Harper's Island) and Brent Stait (Andromeda). So that was definitely fun, and I loved Misha's character XD (not that I'm biased or anything, sssh) Was nice to see him get to play around a bit more than usual-- don't get me wrong, I love Cas, but not exactly a wide range of emotions in that one (or at least, they're more subtler kinds of emotions, and the humor's often unintentional ^^;;) British!Torri was a bit disconcerting, as at first I couldn't even tell that's what she was doing >.> And Peter Wingfield was brilliant as always-- I could watch that man read the phonebook and still be entertained, lol he was the only thing that made Highlander: The Source watchable, tho just barely. Anyway, a fun, silly little thing and a good way to pass the time between reading and sleep.
I... I kind of want to watch it again, actually >.>
