Finally got to watch Terminator: Salvation today (at least, in full-- got a phone call last time, so I missed most of the first half >.>) and I gotta say... I quite liked it ^^; I'd heard mostly bad things about it, which made me sad since I'd been looking forward to it, but still wanted to see it for myself & form my own opinion. And while I'm sure there's room for improvement with certain parts and was kind of annoyed over the ending overall I enjoyed it (this may have something to do with my undying love for Kyle Reese <3). Also, damn, Sam Worthington is indeed hot. I may need to finally see Avatar for him, if nothing else XD Moon Bloodgood kicked some serious ass, Anton Yelchin was adorable (Kyle~ *flails*) and the little girl who played Star is probably the cutest thing ever and I kind of want to keep her and put her in my pocket :3 Actually, I think the only person I was a bit 'meh' about was Christian Bale as John Connor XD (and, well, his wife, tho she was hardly there half the time, so...), at least, it took me a while to warm up to this version of him *shrug* (and no, I haven't listened to that rant thing, and I'm not sure I really want to, so that didn't have anything to do with it)
I still pine for a continuation of the tv series *sob*
Not sure if there'll end up being another one or not-- the studio went bankrupt or something, I think? All I know is that they were looking to sell the franchise and Joss Whedon offered to buy it for $10K XD So I guess we'll see. Tho technically I still need to watch the third one, which I really didn't hear good things about >.> but I'm still curious.
Also, got my copy of North Beach in the mail, yay! I might watch it tonight (or tomorrow night, depending on when we have supper >.> also, Doctor Who is on at 9-- Weeping Angels ftw~). Would've watched it earlier, but movies back to back is not always a good idea for me-- sometimes I'm just fine, but other times I end up with a headache :/ it's usually worth it tho Ah well, something to look forward to! ^^
