yes, this is what i've been up to lately and am only getting around to posting here now, as opposed to any rl productive-type things >.> (also, Script Frenzy, which I think I'll make a separate post about) both are SPN, both are spoilery for the most recent eps.
Angsty Dean vid to Rob Dougan's "I'm Not Driving Anymore":

- have been associating this song with SPN for a while now, but after 5x16-5x18, I thought it was especially appropriate. And, as no one had vidded it yet, I decided to go for it.
-i really love how easy iMovie is to use, but I really wish the preview function would work a bit more smoothly when I don't use transitions :/ video plays just fine when I export it, but to make sure the timing's ok I have to keep exporting it just to check, as iMovie tends to just jump over really short clips (< 1 sec. long) being able to do a few more effects would be awesome too
- thought it came out alright, tho this is another one of those where, by the end of it, I was just getting tired and wanted it finished. So, it could be better *shrug* Other than that, not much else to say about this one ^^;
Gabriel/Trickster tribute set to Regina Spektor's "Man Of A Thousand Faces":

- omg this ep ;_____; as I was watching it, I kept thinking "I really wish I had some song to vid this to", cause apparently this was the only way I could think of to express how it made me feel. Unfortunately I couldn't think of any song off the top of my head, and just went online after, with my iTunes on in the background. Then this song came up, and I wasn't really paying too much attention to it, until a couple of the lyrics caught my attention and I went to look up the rest and thought "... well, damn, this could actually really work." And it actually really did-- the song is so beautiful and fits the character so well, and I don't know how I didn't even remember I *had* this song o.o I'll definitely never forget about it now!
-that being said, sad feelings aside, I really enjoyed making this one-- the Trickster eps are some of my favorites and re-watching the clips made me smile (tho others made me cry, but ssshh >.>). It was also fun to think of ways to use certain lyrics in relation to the clips I had.. sometimes it's challenging, but I like it, and am quite proud of certain interpretations on this one.
-my vids are kinda like my babies (sorta like how my stories are), and I know I probably shouldn't have favorites, but... I think this is my favorite one yet. and oh my goodness, the reception it's gotten has been so amazing and unexpected and I'm so honoured that ppl like it so much <3
Regarding that second one... it's come to my attention that Richard Speight Jr. has a page on FB, where fans can post messages and other fanstuffs... including a few vids... tho I dunno if that'd be ok or super-lame of me, or what >.> But I'm debating it...
