A few things going on...
1- my Primeval & Torchwood books came in today, yay~ (well, I'm still missing one of each, but they're probably still in transit) I kind of want to start on them right away but I'm already reading one book now, waiting for another one to come out March 2 and then March 30, not to mention the pile that keeps getting bigger >.> But still! I am excited :D They also came in extremely fast-- seriously, if anyone needs books, go to Bookdepository.com, even tho they operate from the UK they're super fast and don't charge any shipping. And they have great prices. It almost seems too good to be true, but so far so good!
-I'd given up on tv tie-in novels a long time ago but recently got interested in the ones from my Brit!shows. This mostly happened after watching Torchwood: Children of Earth, and really, really wanting some 'old' Torchwood... then I found out there are a few Primeval ones and thought, what the heck, sounds like fun. Plus, there's quite a while to go til series 4, so it'll help tide me over til then *g* (also! I opened one up to a random page while I was checking them out and managed to stumble across Connor making a 'Lost' reference XD awesome, esp. since that's on tonight, lol!)
-Super excited for 'Roadkill', I kinda love reading books that are part of a series, cause you've always got a new one coming out to look forward to :D And speaking of looking forward to, super-super excited for 'The Gaslight Dogs', I've been waiting a very long time to get to read something by Karin Lowachee again, she is extremely talented! (she is on Twitter and has actually replied to me a couple of times *fangirls* so cool <3)
2- my sis is home sick, either food poisoning or gastro, the doctor wasn't sure :/ so if it's the latter, I have to keep my distance since I'm supposed to be going down to the States for a few days (that may sound a bit cold, but even she was like 'stay away!' ^^;;) My mom took her to the hospital last night, around 11, and they didn't get back til 6:30 this morning, wtf (Mtl hospitals are v. understaffed, but still...) She seems to be feeling better, but it looks like it's a bit on and off, so hopefully she'll get better soon.
3- am going to the States for a few days with the girls to visit our fourth musketeer, who is away at school there, for her birthday. Looking forward to the visit, but not so much the long bus ride, omg. It'll be at night and I can never sleep on those things, ugh :S must also remember to find passport... that would help ^^;; But yeah, leaving Thursday night and back on Sunday night, so I'll be incommunicado/offline for a while, just fyi.
Aaaand, that's about it. New ep of Lost tonight, yay~
