Holy crap! He actually did it!
Alright, here's my attempt at the 7's meme. Since there's really only about 7 or so people that read my journal, it's gonna be pretty hard for me to find stuff you don't already know.
1. Some may not believe it, but I really am as happy and easygoing as I seem in person. It's really hard for me to get angry or sad; it takes something really big, or just a lot of big things together to push me over the edge.
2. Sometimes I get sad that I don't get sad that often. Then I think about it and realize I'm sad, and I get happy that I'm finally sad. Then I realize I'm not sad anymore and I spend about 20 minutes wondering if it even counted as being sad if I enjoyed it.
3. I've been working on making a video game for about 2 years now, but every time I go back to it, I get caught up on some small detail and fret over it 'til I lose interest in the game, or I get overwhelmed thinking about how much work I'd have to do to make it, so I put it off and get absorbed in my other work.
4. I am getting my Ph.D in a field called Bioinformatics. For those of you who have never heard of it, which is pretty much everyone outside of the field, it is using computers to handle biological problems. It might be things like modeling the chemical pathways in a certain cell, or searching through the entire genome to find all the sequences that are genes. I figured I'd throw this in, because I think most people have no idea what I do.
5. Sometimes I kind of wish I had found math more interesting back in high school, because I'm pretty sure if I had kept up with it I would have done well. I'm still happy doing Bioinformatics, but I just kind of wonder what would have happened to me if I had done math instead
6. I have every intention of winning the Nobel Prize some day. I have said it, therefore it will happen.

Now the tricky part. 7 people to do this. Since I'm guessing only about 6 people read my journal (maybe 7 or 8, depending on if some of them actually check it anymore), and since at least two have already done this meme, let's just go with:
