Naoto's dungeon

Nov 01, 2009 22:39

TV's through out the mall spark to life once more, but there is no images upon the screen. No signs of who has been thrown in, no rants against humanity or the world itself. Just crying, that's all anyone hears, the soft sound of sobbing, occasionally muffled by someone. Then the clink of metal against metal or soft 'chink' sounds ( Read more... )

Souji is definitely disturbed. He looks into the television screen warily, contemplating whether he should go into the television. He had expected everything to be over, but apparently, it wasn't.

He decided to jump head-first into his television, while holding a metal pole he found somewhere in the Velvet Mall.

"I can do this. This is just like any other rescue mission, just that I'm doing it alone this time."

The dungeon welcomes him in it's old style. The secret lab lays out before him, the doors open for anyone stupid enough to enter. how high is your intelligence Souji?

Souji nods, before charging in fearlessly.

"I've done this once, I'll be able to do this again. Keep calm, brace yourself. You can do it, Souji Seta."

The first thing that would strike a person was the amount of blood splattered on the wall. It dripped down, pooling on the floor as though someone was shot against it. Off to the side just at the corner of his eye there was a quick glance of a normal shadow, gone before a real look can be given.

Souji gave a cursory glance sideways before advancing straight into the dungeon. It didn't matter to him whether the wall had blood or not. It was purely in his mind. He could have sworn that he saw a normal shadow in a corner, that disappeared as quickly as it came.

"I can't be distracted. Let's press on."

But nothing is 'in the mind' here, Naoto's done some growing up here, and mentally screwed several times over. Yet this dungeon just got worse, especially since you're the first Souji to take an active interest and concern for her. Thus here comes the Shadows!

Stronger then before, bigger as well, and all the arcana are represented now in this dungeon. Would you still like to fight? All alone?

Souji decides to fight. He's done this before, a million of times. Heck, he's even defeated Izanami-no-Okami a few days back. He's not going to give up now, even if he's alone.

"Persona!"

The first wave are a variety of those tanks everyone knows and loves hates! Have fun playing with them!

Well, since there's no Rise or Teddie around, he'll have to go by instinct.

With a yell and mustering all the force he had, he crushed his card. A beautiful angel, with horns and huge wings appeared, before summoning a hand to attack the tank from nowhere.

"Helel! God's Hand!"

God Hand is most certainly formidable, but even as the tanks reel from the blow, there's only so much one person can do. A couple of world balances join the fray with odd strips of cloth hanging off it.

No, this wasn't possible. He was already tired out from the battle he had earlier, and now, a couple more World Balances had to show up. At this rate, he'll never make it to Naoto.

With that in mind, he kept Helel's card and took out Loki's card from his pocket. With surprising force, he crushed the card and out came the Norse Trickster, famed for killing Balder with mistletoe.

"Loki! Mudoon!"

"I... I want them all to die... It's not fair, how everyone else became friends. I want friends... but not at the cost of my self respect!"

It was hissed out of the television screens in the room to the side. Broken and garble, hissed out as the darkness of the mudoon spell faded away.

Souji kept Loki's card in his pocket, before rushing off further into the dungeon.

"I'm here for you, Naoto. Just hang on a little while longer. I'll save you, I swear on it."

The Shadow's aren't letting up, normally Naoto restrains the Shadows herself. But right now, she's so emotionally out of whack from your compassion.

There's a serious of giant Hulk Hogan rip offs coming at you yo!

Oh gosh, Souji is frustrated now. He flips out Loki's card and crushes it without a second thought. Loki emerges from the remains of the tarot card, and summons a spell of darkness once more.

"Get lost! Persona! Mudoon!"

"They know... but they don't care... So long as they have fun what difference does it make?"

The voices were as bad as before, no visual on where Naoto was, the numbers are beginning to double. Maybe you should fall back?
