[PS3] Atelier Totori (and Rorona)
Just completed Totori last night.Sleeping away the last half-year or so. It was tedious since it only let you sleep 7 days a time. Was done with main game content much earlier but I spent the better part of a year waiting (doing requests, synthesizing things I haven't) for a Sage Herb to rot till 34 Quality to make a perfect Elixir, haha. And the Elixir was very useful during the fight with Ocean Kaizer (or whatzisname). Somehow it was Sterk died 2-3 times and Mimi lived ._. I also had my 'perfect' N/A and Totori Brunch - latter not so needed now that I have Elixir, but was helpful for many bosses and tough enemies that came before. And Mimi and Sterk were my members most of the game and I went ahead to Sterk's ending because I was lazy to get the last 1-2 levels for Mimi. Anyway I was going to watch the other endings (and some events) on youtube later.
Oh, I ended up with about 250K in money. Did a bit of spring cup trick and got bored and the rest were from loads of inn requests.
Overall, of course Totori had improved system such as not needing the items to be in basket to report requests, but I like Rorona's cast better. My members then was... Iksel and Tantris? I like all the guys! So that's Sterk and Gio too. And Rorona's cuter than Totori. Whereas in Totori... I kind of only like Sterk? His increased troubles with his scary face, kindness to the cute alchemists and his new unwilling->over-concerned master role were all LOL. Though Gino and Totori are a cute pair too. And Rorona, who I somehow had increased fondness for. The main storyline is kind of bland, not that I expected much of it. Though, I kind of expected their mom to somehow come back because No Dead Body. Maybe it's part of True End?
Will now take a break from synthesizing (lol, all that item management @_@). But looking forward to the next one (Meruru?) eventually.
