[NDS] Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands
It went well!
Filled up slightly more than half of my field with potatoes, 3 harvests. Ended up with hundreds of A-S rank potatoes stuffed into my fridge. Besides those harvest and thus shipped by the harvest sprites, I sold maybe 50 of them, after cooking them into Braised Potatoes. (It's quite hard to cook for my level though so I had to reload often). Naturally, I won the Best Potato contest and got a Yellow Wonderful stone.
Speaking of harvest sprites, the yellow team - 6 of them - harvested a grand total of 24 when I hired them, leaving me to spend the whole day to harvest the remaining 100+. What hardworking little men they are. Meanwhile, the orange - animal care - team finally has 10/10 hearts but I forgot to verify if I had all 10 members. Most now have 4 and above members~
Meanwhile, Mirabella finally decided to give me a cat! (Apparently I've spent enough $ in her shop). I chose the white one and named her Luna :D Also finally found time to built a little playpen outside the Stable so Chuck, Luna and my lone chicken can hang out outside when it isn't raining. I missed the Sheep festival orz. Forgot that Sheep has to be Not Naked on the festival day so my only Naked sheep couldn't participate. Made up for it by winning the Horse Festival though (yes, I reloaded a few times - it's pretty random within a range and he's placed 2nd-4th in my reloads). Snowe had 7 hearts or so. Got a Green Wonderful stone - reduces Stamina - that I put on the hoe sometimes.
Desperately shipping mushrooms without hoarding but still Mirabella wouldn't give me a pig :(
Meanwhile the wild monkeys' finally gone up to 3 hearts so I've been hiring them to collect lumber for me almost daily - it's only 3-5 a day with some stones but hey. Still feeding them Monkey feed of course. It's a pity other wild animals can't be hired at the same time so I'm ignoring them for now.
Also belatedly realized that if I had sold the S-rank wool and milk I had been hoarding earlier, Mirabella would've already started selling Suffolk Sheep and Jersey Cow sooner and I could've skipped getting the normal cows. I've unlocked them now, but since each one cost at least 12000G, I'm waiting for the green sprites to finish resting to help me get a discount. Will have to sell 2 cows to make room for them.
It rained enough that I had days I didn't need to do any watering, so I passed time by doing mining and fishing. Especially fishing. I'm so behind on points :( Though, I still mostly only fish during time-stop festivals.
I've been mostly ignoring the villagers and even dear Mirabella's starting to reject my gifts in protest >_> Oh well. In other news, darling is finally at Orange Heart, all events seen. I had to replace Porridge with Hot Milk twice this month because I didn't have enough cash to buy rice T_T I hoard too much stuff. Asset rich and cash poor. I'll need a small bomb to upgrade house for marriage though so... probably will see my stock cleared when he's Red Heart.
Oh caveman Shea came by on 14 Spring to give me cookies, hehe. I gave him chocolate on 14 Winter after all. Vaughn wasn't around on both 14th's so I get to flirt (?) around. Oh and I managed to trigger Will and Lily's first event, but the other boys... I give up, they're all incorrigibly Purple-Heart despite that I try to terrorize Elliot with Chuck whenever I remembered and ignore all of them. Even Will's became Purple after I won the horse festival. Oh well! I should marry this year so I will see all of you get hitched soon.
