Finishing up the review of Wave whatever number it is this week, I bring the final two figure packs released(not counting Destro vs Grunt, which I reviewed with the Wave 7 figures earlier).

First up: Agent Faces vs Zartan:

Agent Faces, yet another new member to the G.I. Joe team, is the new infiltration specialist. The character is actually introduced in Spy Troops: The Movie but this is the first time you see him in his usual uniform, not the Crimson Guard disguise he sports in the movie(the figure of which is available via mail order). As a mold, he is pretty good. His head sculpt is based off of one of the Hasbro design team members(who also happens to be the Agent Faces namesake). His arms seem a bit on the oddly proportioned side, but it's really his chest being a bit too short, which is throwing off the arm size. He has a simple design, but it's pulled off pretty good. His pants have nice detail, with folds and seams like real pants. His accesories include: Two masks(that fit over his head), one of Dr. Mindbender, the other of some Cobra agent; a sub machine gun; a pistol; and a black bag to hold the masks. The masks, when on the figure, look rather large, so they look comical to a degree.

Zartan, using the same mold that has been seen in several waves now, sports a new color scheme. Mostly black with some dark maroon on the pants. It's an okay look for Zartan, but the fact that this is the same mold there is nothing new to see. His accessories are effectively what makes this figure. He comes with Duke and Flint masks(that slip on like Agent Faces' masks), a large shotgun type gun, a pistol and the same large black satchel that Agent Faces comes with.

Next up, we have: Night Force Duke vs Pit Viper:

NF Duke is the same mold that was released in Wave 5(or so). The only difference is color scheme. To make him part of the Night Force sub-line, he is painted in darker hues, such as dark green trousers and a black shirt. His vest, though, is a lighter tan color. This is a nice figure, despite the reuse of the mold. He comes with the same M4 that the first version comes with, a pistol, and an Alley Viper disguise. This consists of: Mask with flip up face plate, arm gauntlets and boot covers. There is potential in some of this Spy Troops gear to customize a new Alley Viper figure.

Pit Viper is new to the ranks of the Cobra Viper Corps. Done in dark grey and amber colors, the Pit Viper is a simple looking figure, with very little detail on the body suit. However; this doesn't mean the figure is ugly. The body suit features a rare turtleneck collar, black straps criss-crossing the chest and waist. There is a Cobra sigil in the center of the Pit Viper's chest and one again on his forehead. His head sculpt is very interesting, featuring an open mouth design. His sunglass/goggles are particularly nice, with a distinct pattern on them and a very nice color(a metalic blue). His shins feature twin metal armor plates to accentuate the lower legs. He comes with twin machine guns with grenade launchers and a ghile suit.
