(a) Fucking fabulous, in the "I'm so fabulous I piss glitter" way.
(b) Big girls are beautiful.
(c) The vocalist should stop listening to the pop-industry's bullshit and let loose. She has a really nice, emotional, chesty voice, and she shouldn't compromise it for the sake of sounding "bright."
Also, I did not just sit and stare at the wall all day. I worked the Vespa at the "block party" in Princeton, which is essentially all the local businesses pimping themselves. Really fun. I was working with Sunny and a new guy, Pat (TCNJ English major, so he's gotta be cool). We were across from the Thomas Sweet's booth, and we comped them icecream, so they comped us popcorn :) And Sunny bought jumbo Pixie Stix for us :D After the shift ended, we went and sat on the green to watch the screening of The Wizard of Oz, and I enjoyed it much more than I remember I did as a child. Also, Sunny was her usual crazy self and was silly during the movie :p A storm rolled in when Dorothy was captured, and it started raining when the Wicked Witch got splashed with water. Apropos :p I got rather wet walking from Palmer Square to my car, but it was nice because it was such a warm, humid night.
Also, I made chili last night, and it was very good, but next time I should definitely make it a day ahead so the flavours can blend. I ate leftover chili for dinner tonight, and it was waaaay better than last night. Much less bitter, and the spices were more pronounced. Will definitely make it again (hell, I have enough chilis to make five batches!).
