This is just a minor thing, but I noticed recently that you have a tendency to refer the island of Atia as a tropical island (such as in this thread), but I thought it'd be good to just let you know that the island isn't actually tropical. It's described as a Mediterranean island, similar to Greece or the islands surrounding it. Therefore, the weather should be similar to whatever is current in Greece during this time of year, unless the mods specify something about the weather for plots or events.

Again, just a minor detail, but I figured it'd be important to note anyway.

alskdfj It's appreciated, thank you! @///@ I'll try to be better about that. I probably wouldn't have noticed the discrepancy if you hadn't pointed it out.

Not a problem. I thought maybe it was kinda clear, but I guess not. |D;

It probably has to do with the fact that the first LJ fandom RP I ever played in was on a tropic island. ^^; /derpderp

I stumbled upon this journal and comment through the anonmeme and I thought I'd link this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediterranean_climate

A Mediterranean climate is the climate typical of most of the lands in the Mediterranean Basin as part of subtropical climate.

The climate is characterized by warm to hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters.

I don't have anything to do with this but imo that qualifies a Mediterranean island as falling under the moniker of "tropical".

YMMV, then. But "tropical" usually denotes climates that include palm trees and rainforest type vegetation. With warm, humid temperatures and a lack of noticeable seasons. Which is not the climate of places such as Greece, which is what Amat is somewhat based on.

Anyway, the mods have been specific about the climate being similar to what's typical for Greece, and again, that's not the kind of climate that could be described as tropical. Usually, anyway.
