Mousey Double Bill
The new Hedgehog Restaurant is proving successful, for the mice at least for the time being. The good thing about it is it has clear walls so now I can see the mice scampering about outside the box.
While I was reviewing a few days footage today I noticed a mouse coming out of the tube under the back door right after one had been right in front of the camera, and then the one by the camera reappeared showing they were two different mice!
It was too far to see which mouse was by the tunnel and if it was a house or wood mouse, but it was fun to see more than one mouse in the same video!
Proof that mousey paths do cross from time to time.
With the new arrangement the mice seem to like sitting on the edge of the water bowl right in front of the camera, which is cute but unfortunately out of focus.
Sadly my hope of getting in focus shots with the longer box haven't worked out, it's still not quite long enough. :P
But there's still lots of fun footage to watch.
This morning if I had peeped out the door after finishing my breakfast I would have seen Martha mouse eating her breakfast!
She was in the restaurant up to 9:30 this morning!
I'd sad I didn't look out!
