Another great weekend down, and a long week to go. Andy spent the weekend here at my parents house, and we tried to make the best out of the nice weather (since it will probably be the last nice warm temps for a while).
Friday night we went to dinner, and catched Kill Bill at 9:30. The movie was very good, but very violent, and earned it's rated R movie rating. I just don't want to have to wait until February to catch the next part of the film (since I know I'll forget what happened in the first part).
On Saturday morning we decided to go to the zoo. I wish I had a camera, because we saw the new baby red pandas playing outside. They were soooo... cute! I tried to get Andy to smuggle one out of there under his shirt, but I think they would have noticed a tail hanging out, hehe. The monkeys were also very cool, along with the birdies, the yak, and the turtles. It was great going with Andy too, because he's a biologist, and he knew all these cool things about the animals no one else would know.
Oh yeah, Andy bought me a little friend for home (since I couldn't have a real panda *pout*)
After the excitement and cuddles from pandas and not the panda (aka, Andy), we had a lovely picnic at Beaver Lake, and enjoyed each other's company even more. (After a few relationshps, you learn to really enjoy the person you're with, and appreciate them for who they are. I'm never taking anyone for granted ever again.) Then later on we decided to go to Carousel to get me a pair of shoes (read: several pairs of shoes), and made fun of all the skanks working at Hooters. You have to appreciate a man who makes fun of Hooters girls ;o)
Today we went back to Beaver Lake to look at a few spots we didn't get to yesterday, then headed up to LaFayette to the apple festival of Hades (er, the LaFayette Apple Fest.). It was a bit crowded, but the apple dumplings were good, and Andy and I feasted on many free samples (yay for free!). After a nice lunch out somewhere, we decided to call it a weekend. He just went home about 45 minutes ago, and I'm terribly lonely already. *sigh*
Hope everyone had as nice of a weekend as I had!
p.s. I don't expect all of this good karma to keep lasting. Every day I spend with Andy is just absolutely awesome. I'm wondering what's wrong with him, because he seems too perfect, lol.
