The Never Ending Move (Random Update)
Just like the subject line says: this seems to be the never-ending move. The movers never showed up on the 16th; I spoke to them today and now they're scheduled for tomorrow (October 18th) at 9:30 a.m. It will hopefully go smoothly. At least I got the keys to the townhouse without a problem on the 15th. :D
Thankfully, I have a place to stay for free, especially considering the company which previously provided my heat and power has charged me $420 for them to cut me off ('early termination fee'). O.O Some words of advice: never, never, never sign a contract with any utility company because holy shit!! I told them I really hoped the company I'm now using for power will not be using them for anything, and when I get my own place again, I'll be going to anybody other than that company. Because: HOLY SHIT!!
But anyway...there have been a few bumps along the road, but hopefully this move is almost over... o.O
