Summary: Gwendal really hated the cape.
Gwendal was surprised when he walked into his study to find his never ending pile of paper work gone.
Now it wasn't that he enjoyed having so much work to do, like any other person he'd rather spend his time doing other things (finishing that bunny plushie for example). But nonetheless it was a bit unnerving to have no work at all so he set out in order to investigate the whereabouts of his never ending pile of paper work.
Guessing by the groaning sounds from the kings study Gwendal assumed that would probably be the best place to check first.
And indeed, King Yuuri was completely hidden behind mountains of paper with Gunter happily lecturing the boy about this and that.
Gwendal looked at the lavender haired man and frowned.
The cape. That hideous piece of cloth that covered the other man.
Gwendal hated the cape.
"Ah! Gwendal, as you can see his majesty woke up today ready to take care of all his responsibilities so i took the liberty of taking your share of his work as well."
Was the cape talking to him? No wait that was Gunter.
Yuuri looked like he was about to cry. He looked up at Gwendal with puppy dog eyes and damn it the boy was cute.
Gunter noticed the look Yuuri was giving Gwendal and hit him lightly on the head with a book. Did the cape just hit the king?
"Gunter I can handle some of that. We both know the king cannot handle so much work yet."
That ugly cape was just so...ugly
"His majesty promised to finish it all today. If it looks like he can't handle it any more I'll be sure to let you know."
The maou banged his head on the desk.
Gwendal nodded and turned to leave. He had to get away from that horribly thing of a cape. How could someone so handsome and elegant wear such a hideous thing? It really baffled him and damn it the cape was really starting to get on his nerves the past few days.
He wasn't surprised when Gunter walked into his study an hour later holding a stack of papers. The amount of work wasn't as much as h'd expected. Apparently Yuuri had it in him after all. Gunter placed the papers on his desk and sighed. Gwendal frowned. The cape. Every where Gunter went that thing followed, wrapped around his shoulders, shielding the beautiful man from him.
"His majesty has come a long way but this is still a bit mu-"
"Take it off."
Gunter blinked at Gwendal.
"Excuse me?"
"Take that cape off." Gwendal instructed. "Now."
Gunter looked a bit taken aback by the murderous look Gwendal was directing at his cape of all things.
The dark haired mazoku was running out of patience. He stood up suddenly frightening the kings advisor, and stomped towards said man. He grabbed the cape and tugged as hard as he could and ripped the poor thing apart.
Gunter watched in shock as Gwendal stomped out of the room with his ruined cape. He ran to the windows to see the man burn his defenseless cape and could have sworn he could hear the other man laughing manically.
Gwendal returned to his study to find a shocked Gunter staring at him. He looked at the man and decided that he hated the uniform.
"Take it off. Now"
