More than 240,000 people in South Asia and East Africa have died because of the tsunami. More are in need of aid.
There are 2,434,563 active users on LiveJournal. All of these people have access to a computer, obviously, and therefore are better off than a vast majority of people on this planet.
If every one of those active users gave $5.00 to the tsunami relief fund, that would be more than 12 million dollars in much-needed aid.
