It's obvious from many passages in the books that Gimli is quite devoted to his hobbit friends. What is he thinking about when Aragorn honors Frodo and Sam at Cormallen (or in the movie, all four of the hobbits at Minas Tirith)? Does he try to hide his feelings, or is he quite open about them?
