Sorry not to be leaving many comments recently, or posting chatty musings. My internet access has been strangely intermittent, shutting down pages at random, and it's been frustrating. This morning everything seems fairly stable (fingers and paws crossed!) so I thought I'd leap in and say hello and try to read posts I've missed

*waves* Missed you! I'm so sorry you've hurt your back. Take it easy and feel better soon. Happy Birthday to Shiremon on the 19th! My kiddo will be 21 on the same day, if you can believe. And, good luck with her surgery. She'll do great. My mom had both eyes done and they did them in the doctor's office. I guess that's been a while back. Sorry about the multiple edits. LJ is acting weird for me this AM. Hope your Internet stays stable!

Tell Mum that nowadays hospitals try to get you home quickly. I'm sure it won't be as bad as she imagines. I've had both appendix and gallbladder removed now and it was relatively simple each time.

Awwww, cozy Pip!

So sorry about your back trouble and unreliable internet. Very annoying. I hope both improve very soon. I hope Shiremom's appts all go smoothly. My parents both had cataract surgeries a couple of years ago and all went fine. Dad only needs reading glasses nowadays after needing prescription glasses since he was about 4.
